Thank you for being part of Stand Up, Speak Out!

Held on the Gold Coast from 27–29 July 2026, EAAA’s national conference brought together older people, advocates, practitioners, researchers, policymakers and community leaders from across Australia to share knowledge, challenge thinking and strengthen our collective efforts to prevent and respond to the abuse and mistreatment of older people.

Three days of thought-provoking presentations, honest conversations, new ideas and valuable connections gave us plenty to reflect on. We know many of you will want to revisit the sessions, share what you heard with colleagues, or catch up on presentations you may have missed.
