We were pleased to welcome members and supporters to our AGM on Friday 28 November 2025. Alongside the formal business of the meeting, we also heard from key speakers and reflected on EAAA's achievements over the past year.
An AGM is more than just an official requirement for ticking off an agenda it’s also a chance to reflect on the past year’s achievements and challenges. Our 6th AGM allowed us to celebrate progress and ensure we’re heading into the future with a strong base for action.
It's been a year of growth and development for Elder Abuse Action Australia, demonstrated by the increase in our work, our reach and our reputation as a peak body. This Annual Report allows us to share the year's highlights.
Our body of work in this reporting period highlighted Elder Abuse Action Australia’s growth as a national voice for action to eliminate the abuse and neglect of older people in Australia.
EAAA has established itself as a vital peak body representing more than 50 stakeholders across Australia, each with the vision and passion to end elder abuse in our society.
EAAA is a specialist organisation with knowledge of issues that impact older people and their families, communities and broader society. Our board represents advocacy groups that are strong advocates on elder abuse in their jurisdictions.
