Lunch and Learn: Highlights from the Elder Abuse Protection Unit's year in review

Anna has degrees in psychology and social work and at the time of presentation was undertaking a PhD at the University of Queensland, investigating dynamics and drivers that underlie elder abuse for those with and without cognitive impairment.​

Her work with older Australians ranges from helpline support, information, and referral, to communication campaigns to protect older people from scams and consumer issues. Anna has spent the last 4 years developing a research program at the Elder Abuse Prevention Unit (EAPU) in Queensland and was invited by the Australian Attorney General’s Office to become a member of the Expert Panel for the National Prevalence Study.
