National Plan Consultation - First Nations Focus Groups

Elder Abuse Action Australia (EAAA) is a national voice for action to end the abuse of older people and to raise awareness of the often-hidden issue of discrimination. We have been engaged by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department to lead an important national research and consultation project to inform the development of the 2nd National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians.

Focus groups are being held around Australia and we’re committed to ensuring that we hear from a diverse range of voices including those of First Nations people. First Nations Focus Group sessions are being held in Adelaide SA.

EAAA invites your organisation to nominate a senior representative to participate in one of the following sessions:

  • First Nations Focus Group 1: Wednesday 6 September from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
  • First Nations Focus Group 2: Thursday 7 September from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Register to be part of this important gathering and contribute your experience and insights to the national consultation. Register for either session using the Register Now button below.
