Elder Abuse Action Australia (EAAA) is a national voice for action to end the abuse of older people and to raise awareness of the often-hidden issue of discrimination. We have been engaged by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department to lead an important national research and consultation project to inform the development of the 2nd National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians.
Focus groups are being held around Australia and we’re committed to ensuring that we hear from a diverse range of voices including those of First Nations people. First Nations Focus Group sessions are being held in Adelaide SA.

Designed to accommodate 35 in-person participants per Focus Group, sessions will run for three hours including a break with light refreshments provided.
Assistance is available to eligible not-for-profit organisations that are unable to cover the travel and accommodation cost of their participation. To access travel assistance, register before Friday 25th August 23 using the Registration and Travel Assistance Application option.
